Breast Cancer Awareness.
The month of October is internationally recognised as Breast Cancer month, an annual campaign that seeks to create awareness, educate and give hope to those afflicted by breast cancer. This is a time to educate women, and men, on breast health, breast cancer prevention and ways in which an afflicted person can survive with breast cancer. Breast cancer can occur in both men and women even though it is most prevalent in women. Breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death in women after lung cancer.
